Q-Collab Account Deletion Policy
QuantumRonics Pvt Ltd. | Effective date: 15 October 2026 | Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. Purpose and scope
This policy explains how an individual Q-Collab user can request deletion of their account and what happens to associated personal data and workspace content. Q-Collab is provided by QuantumRonics Pvt Ltd. as an organizational collaboration service. Workspace and customer data may also be subject to the organization’s instructions, applicable law and a signed customer agreement.
2.How to request account deletion
You may request account deletion using the account-deletion option within Q-Collab, where available. If you cannot use that option, you may ask your organization’s administrator to assist with the request. You may also consult the deletion information at https://quantumronics.com/qcollab/account-deletion or submit a support ticket through https://support.quantumronics.com/ (the centralized support portal for all QuantumRonics products). You may also email support@quantumronics.com.
3. Thirty-day cancellation period
After a deletion request is accepted, the account enters a 30-day soft-deletion period. During this period, logging in cancels the pending deletion request. If you do not log in to cancel the request, the deletion workflow proceeds after the 30-day period.
4. What is deleted and what remains
After the 30-day period completes without cancellation, Q-Collab is intended to permanently delete the account and associated personal data through its account-deletion workflow, subject to applicable legal obligations and the operational limitations described below.
Messages that the user posted in a workspace remain in that workspace after the individual account is deleted. Other associated personal data is deleted through the account-deletion workflow. Content shared with other users may already have been copied, downloaded, exported or retained by those users or by the organization.
Deleting an individual account is not the same as deleting a workspace. Workspace deletion is a separate process. Uploaded files, recordings, exports, search-index entries, logs or other stored copies may require separate cleanup and may not be removed automatically by workspace deletion.
5. Backups and other retained records
Q-Collab backups are retained for 90 days and are maintained on a schedule other than daily. The precise backup frequency and storage location are not specified in this policy. Backup copies and other operational records may follow a separate lifecycle from live account data, so deletion from live systems may not immediately remove all backup copies. Certain audit events may remain available online for approximately 13 months and certain temporary processing segments may expire within 24 hours; retention can vary by record type and operational need.
6. Organization-managed accounts and legal exceptions
Your organization may control account access, workspace membership and workspace content. If your account is organization-managed, contact your administrator if you need help with the request or have questions about content that remains in the workspace. QuantumRonics may retain or process information where required by law, to address security incidents, resolve disputes or meet applicable contractual obligations.
