Q-Courier Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms & Conditions govern authorized access to and use of Q-Courier, provided by QuantumRonics Pvt Ltd.. By using Q-Courier, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

2. Account provisioning

Q-Courier accounts are created and managed by an administrator through the administrative interface, bulk import, or configured AD/LDAP synchronization. Public self-registration is not available. Administrators may enable, disable, expire, or remove accounts and assign permissions according to organizational needs and licence settings.

3. Authorized use

Use Q-Courier for lawful email, calendar, contact and related business communication. Do not use it to send unlawful or unauthorized messages, spam, phishing, malware, abusive content, or material that infringes others’ rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, bypass quotas or access controls, or interfere with mail security systems.

4. Email delivery and third-party mail systems

Email delivery depends on DNS, remote MX servers, network connectivity, recipient systems, spam filtering and configuration. Delivery may be delayed, rejected, quarantined, or classified as spam. Server-to-server TLS is opportunistic and cannot guarantee encryption on every delivery hop. Users are responsible for verifying recipients and ensuring they are authorized to send the content.

5. Mail content and security scanning

Q-Courier stores and processes messages, headers, attachments, drafts and recipient information to provide mail service. Spam and virus scanning components may inspect messages and attachments for security purposes. S/MIME features may involve server-held private-key material and decryption for message display. Do not assume the service provides application-level encryption at rest or that server operators are technically unable to access content.

6. Optional AI features

Where enabled, AI features may send relevant email content to Google Gemini for the requested AI function. Use these features only when authorized and in compliance with organizational policies and applicable provider terms. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before being relied on for important decisions.

7. Security and account responsibilities

• Keep passwords, TOTP codes, backup codes, recovery details, certificates and private keys secure.
• Use authorized devices and follow your organization’s security requirements.
• Do not share accounts or use another person’s mailbox without authorization.
• Report suspected compromise, phishing, data exposure, or service abuse to your administrator or through the central support portal.
• Respect mailbox quotas, licence restrictions and administrator controls.

8. Roles and administration

Q-Courier supports role-based administration, including end-user, helpdesk, audit, domain administrator, global administrator and licence-operator roles. Administrators may manage accounts, credentials, certificates, policies and logs within their permissions. The host operator with root access may technically access stored mail and key material. QuantumRonics does not have access to a customer deployment unless access is granted.

9. Retention, deletion and export

Mailbox content is retained until deleted by the user or account/mailbox removal, subject to the configured keep period. Removed mailboxes may be retained for 1–365 days at the administrator’s choice or indefinitely if configured by a global administrator. Database backups are retained for 90 days. There is no single-click export of all account data; available methods include IMAP/POP3, contact vCard/ZIP, calendar export and PKCS#12 export where supported.

10. Licensing and availability

Access may depend on a valid licence, account status, domain configuration and assigned permissions. Service availability depends on the customer’s server, network, DNS, mail routing, storage, certificates and third-party systems. Unless a separate signed agreement expressly states otherwise, no specific uptime, failover, or recovery-time guarantee is provided.

11. Intellectual property

Q-Courier software, interface, branding and documentation belong to QuantumRonics or its licensors, except for customer content and third-party components. Subject to the applicable licence and customer agreement, authorized users receive a limited right to use Q-Courier for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred.

12. Suspension and termination

An administrator may disable or expire an account, revoke access, or remove a mailbox in accordance with organizational policies, security requirements, licence conditions and the configured retention period. Suspension and account removal can affect access to email, contacts, calendars, certificates and related information. Deletion timing depends on the mailbox keep period and any indefinite-retention setting.

13. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Q-Courier is provided subject to the applicable customer agreement and service configuration. We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, that messages will never be marked as spam, or that the service will be uninterrupted or free from error. Commercial liability caps, exclusions, indemnities and risk allocation between QuantumRonics and a customer are governed by the applicable signed customer agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and courts in Pakistan shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory legal requirements and any valid written customer agreement that expressly provides otherwise.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be published at https://quantumronics.com/qcourier/terms-and-conditions.
