QVPN Account Deletion Policy

1. Purpose

This policy explains how a QVPN user can request account deletion and what happens to associated information. QVPN is provided by QuantumRonics Pvt Ltd. and may be managed by an organization or administrator.

2. Delete your account in Settings

Where available, open QVPN, navigate to Settings, select the account deletion option and follow the on-screen confirmation steps. The current workflow requires confirmation with your account password. Read the confirmation prompt carefully before proceeding.

3. What is deleted

The account-deletion workflow removes the account and associated records configured to be deleted with it, including linked records removed through database relationships. The exact outcome can depend on account type, tenant configuration and operational state.

4. Records that may remain

Account deletion does not immediately remove every related record. Historical VPN connection events may remain in pseudonymized form until the 90-day connection-event cleanup and may still contain source and assigned IP addresses, timestamps, transferred volumes and event details. Administrative audit records that identify the user may remain because the current implementation has no general expiry configured for those records. Web-tier and other infrastructure logs may also remain where no retention limit is configured. Device-posture history is configured for approximately 180 days. Deleting an individual account differs from deleting an entire organization or tenant; tenant deletion follows a separate process.

5. If you cannot access Settings

If you cannot sign in or use the in-app deletion option, contact your organization’s QVPN administrator or submit a support ticket through https://support.quantumronics.com/. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with your organization. Do not send passwords, one-time authentication codes, or private keys in a ticket.

6. Legal and security retention

QuantumRonics may retain information where necessary to comply with law, investigate security incidents, maintain system integrity, resolve disputes, or meet applicable contractual obligations.
