ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure. You will be responsible for keeping our systems secure, reliable, and performing at their best From configuring firewalls and managing VPNs to troubleshooting complex network issues across multiple sites.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and manage firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, indigenous, or similar)
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain VPN solutions — site-to-site & remote access
  • Design and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across office locations
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, and access points (Cisco, HP, Juniper)
  • Maintain up-to-date network documentation and topology diagrams
  • Collaborate with the IT security team on access control and policy enforcement
  • Perform traffic analysis and network performance testing
  • Utilize tools like Ixia, Spirent, Wireshark, Nmap, and Metasploit
  • Assess and improve secure network architecture and system hardening
  • Work with teams on firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS configuration and analysis

  • Firewall configuration

  • VPN (IPSec / SSL)

  • TCP/IP & routing protocols

  • BGP / OSPF

  • VLAN / STP

  • DHCP & DNS management

  • Cisco IOS / NX-OS

  • Network monitoring tools

  • CCNA / CCNP certification

  • SD-WAN technologies

  • Basic penetration testing

  • Python or Bash scripting

  • Azure / AWS networking

  • CompTIA Network+

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Experience:  3–6 years in network engineering or a related infrastructure role

Education:   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are strongly preferred
