ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC / SIEM Expert to join our cybersecurity team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms, with a strong academic foundation in cybersecurity or a related field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:    BS or MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (mandatory)

Experience:   3–5 years in SOC operations and SIEM platform management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across the SIEM platform around the clock
  • Deploy, configure, fine-tune, and maintain SIEM solutions on-site (Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar)
  • Lead incident detection, analysis, containment, and post-incident reporting
  • Develop and continuously improve SIEM correlation rules, dashboards, and use cases
  • Conduct threat hunting, log analysis, and forensic investigation of security events
  • Integrate log sources (endpoints, firewalls, servers, cloud) into SIEM pipelines
  • Stay current on emerging threats, CVEs, and adversarial TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK framework)

  • Microsoft Sentinel

  • LogRhythm

  • ArcSight

  • Wazuh / ELK Stack

  • Log management & correlation

  • Threat intelligence feeds

  • MITRE ATT&CK framework

  • SOAR integration

  • Regex / SPL / KQL queries

  • Network & endpoint forensics

  • IDS / IPS analysis

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS degree required — Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent discipline from a recognized HEC-accredited or international university
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, Splunk Certified Power User, SC-200 (Microsoft Sentinel), or equivalent
  • Candidates with SOC-specific coursework, thesis, or final-year project in cybersecurity will be given strong preference
